Subject:
Perhaps one of the best understandings of Paul
Samuel Sandmel gives us in "The Genius of Paul" one of the bast understandings of Paul the Apostle that has ever been written. His achievement in communicating the complexity of Paul in terms that are accessible to both lay and professional students of New Testament biblical study gives us a way to speak and share without prejudice the radical grace stance of Paul's theology. This, of course, gives light to the whole of the New Testament who's chief protagonist and antagonist is both found in the person of Paul. I know of no other book written to date that uses Paul to explain Paul so well and I am thankful for Professor Sandmel for this contribution to ministry and faith itself.
